I wish I could say that we have seen the Aurora Borealis, but alas it has alluded us. Well, when you go to bed at 8:30 or 9 because your son has an aversion to sleep, you tend to miss everything. Have I mentioned that Avery is not a very good sleeper? Oh yeah, several times! Anyways the night before last, Zac and I heard that the Northern Lights were quite spectacular, and we missed it. That's probably the 3rd or 4th time that we have heard they were really good but we have yet to see them. We really should start looking out the window at 3:30 when we are up with Avery to see whats happening. Apparently you can go to the website for the Geophysical Institute at the University of Fairbanks and they predict how active the lights are supposed to be. It's not 100% accurate or anything but they can give you a good indication if you will see anything or not...we will have to start checking every day. There is also a placed called Chena Hot Springs where you can go relax in the hot spring and watch the Northern Lights...ahhh that would be the life. Anyone want to fly to Alaska and watch Avery for us? :)

oh my goodness that is so awesome! The Northern Lights are on my bucket list....which is NOT to be confused with my Dirty 30 Bucket list. haha
Peyton says he will ... Aunt Holly says she'll fly up and pick Avery up and bring him down to some warm weather! LOL
