Time with Mom

It is so nice having my mom in Fairbanks...even if it is just for a couple days. We mostly stayed around the apartment but had a few outings here and there. I wanted to show her Creamers Field so we strapped Avery in his convertable and went for a stroll. While we were watching the birds that have migrated here for the summer a man with a large white parrot walked up to us and let Avery pet "Lucky Bird". He thought it was spectacular...maybe we should get him his own pet parrot???
