Up at 3am
It's now 5am here in Alaska and we have been up for 2 hours. Avery is a night owl. He hasn't really been fussy just talking and wanting to play. Mommy and Daddy just want to sleep...please Avery
We definitely went through this with Natalie too. Our pediatrician told us to go in and (without talking to Natalie) lay her back down - and to keep doing this every time she stood up and yelled for us - 100 times if necessary - until she realized that we weren't going to play and that she should be sleeping. It was ROUGH! But she did eventually get the message and she's a good sleeper now.
I'm praying that Avery "grows out" of this and its just a short phase for you guys.
I keep telling Zac we need to do this, but at 3am he just wants to go back to sleep so the easiest thing for him to do is feed him and lay him back down. I know it is creating a bad habit!

It is so tough! Jon and I had many a long night - but its all worth it! :) Praying you all speed through this stage.
