These aren't just ANY peaches, these are NORTH CAROLINA peaches!!! Yesterday Zac and I received a package and low and behold it contained home grown North Carolina peaches from Zac's dads farm. Man how we missed this delicious fruit. Oh, you can get peaches here in Alaska...they just taste like cardboard...they look like peaches they just have absolutely no taste. So this was a much appreciated treat! Normally it takes a little over a week for a package to arrive, but his dad had them sent next day air and most of them made it fairly intact. Before I could even get home to see them Zac had already cut 3/4 of them up and was making a peach cobbler :)

Yummy!! JJ and I were just talking about how were sad you guys won't be at the OBX with us this year because we won't get peaches (and yall won't be there)!! :) We did get some at the farmers market the other day and they are good, but nothing like Zac's dads!!
