These two adorable children are my world right now. They are slowly getting used to one another, but I have to watch Avery like a hawk because he wants to be "helpful" and pick her up or rock her in her swing and his "helping" gets a little out of control. It started off with her in her bouncer. I had set her down for one minute while I went into the kitchen, and I heard Avery bust out laughing (that usually means he has done something) so I race over and find him joyfully bouncing her up and down with exuberance. Now, we have this wonderful swing and Avery firmly believes it is his duty to rock Joanna...again with exuberance. I have to sit right there with him and say "Easy, too much" and now Avery will rock her and then look at me when he knows he has put a little extra effort into it and say "TOO MUCH". What a fun life these two will have together!!!
