Love and Photos

I love my husband!!! For my birthday he got a professional to take some pictures of us. We didn't have much time between when we met and when we got married and our wedding came up so quickly we just never had engagement photos taken. My mom had taken some great shots of us and we were content with that at the time. Zac knew that I had been a little disappointed with our wedding photographer so this was the perfect gift! Derrah Ledford (D Photography) took some amazing pictures of us up at Wilson Lick Cabins and Wayah Bald. I have to admit though that Zac and I were a little awkward at the shoot. It seemed really strange having our picture taken for two hours and at first we were REALLY stiff. But in spite of that Derrah came up with some really incredible pictures! It was taking so long to load I only posted a few but will post more on facebook.

"The Word works IF you work it" -Pastor Sherry
Spent the day up at Wayah Bald reading, praying and seeking God's will for our lives. It is amazing to study God's word way up in the mountains. For some reason I feel like I understand the Word much better and can think clearer. Zac and I saw a real church in operation this past weekend, preaching the Word and ministering to those in need. We were so blessed to see a ministry actually being/doing what God has called us to do.

Decisions

Getting a glimpse of the bigger picture?

Zac and I are in a holding pattern. We have some decisions ahead of us that we are having a hard time seeing a clear picture of what God wants us to do. We are completely 100% open to whatever direction He takes us, we just can't seem to get a handle on where He is leading. Have you ever thought you knew the direction you should take, and even started down that path confident that you were doing the right thing only to be stopped dead in your tracks by circumstances that would suggest otherwise? I am hanging onto Isaiah 30:21 "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying "This is the way, walk in it". We know that God works all things for our good, and always leads us to triumph and we are confident that as we seek first Him and His Kingdom that every thing else will be added. His word says that we have everything that we need for life and for godliness and knowing that makes each day seem a little brighter.
